What is an AMV? An AMV is an Animated Music Video, which were very popular in the early 2000s — particularly those of Dragon Ball Z with Linkin Park playing in the background. Nowadays, that spirit is captured in short edits on Instagram Reels. However at EVG we aim to recapture the magic that lies beyond the 30 second limit.

We will celebrate and show AMVs created by our members who love the lessons learned, the pain been overcome, and the retribution of our favorite anime/movie characters—all to the most sick music tracks that add electricity to the moments.

Invite your friends! Grab a drink! Watching these is so much more personal and cool with those you love, and those who feel the emotions in their veins when they see it on screen

Keep a lookout for Film Competitions at EVG on the Events Page and Events Calendar! The EVG Short Film Festival encourages artists and filmakers to get their names out there with their own creative films! The winner will receive a cash prize, trophy, certificate of film brilliance and recognition on all EVG Social Media Platforms.

AMVs have their own competition, and winners will also get cash prizes and recognition on all EVG Social Media Platforms.

Film and AMV festivals will be events to behold. Depending on weather, we have them outside on a large inflatable screen and state of the art speakers so that anyone can pull up and see the art. This is a community event and EVG will provide seating, food vendors, and free waters!
